Governance
Who We Are Accountable To
Amber Family is committed to maintaining vigilant governance and compliance standards as outlined by Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services, and Skills).
At Amber Family, we rigorously adhere to the Residential Family Centre Regulations and the National Minimum Standards to ensure that we offer the highest quality of support to the families entrusted to us for assessment by Local Authorities across England and Wales
Working Together to Safeguard Children is statutory guidance on multi-agency working to help, protect and promote the welfare of children. Our primary obligation at Amber Family is to ensure the safeguarding of our resident families, particularly the children placed in our care.
We take our safeguarding responsibilities extremely seriously and commission independent monthly audits to meet our Regulation 25 reporting responsibility. External professionals conduct impartial observations and assessments, ensuring that we consistently comply with Ofsted regulations, maintain the highest supervision standards, and proactively identify areas of improvement.
