Sexual Health Week
This week is Sexual Health Week. The World Health Organisation defines sexual health as a state of physical, emotional, mental and social well-being in relation to sexuality.
Despite it being just as important to treat our sexual health as we do any other aspect of our health, including regular check-ups, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and raising awareness about other issues related to healthy relationships. Lots of people feel embarrassed about visiting a sexual health clinic. However, it is so important that you prioritise your health despite this. Sometimes there are drop in clinics available without making an appointment, you don’t even have to visit your local one if you don’t want to.
