Samaritans Awareness Day 2022

Samaritans Awareness Day is an annual campaign which is held on the 24^th July (24/7), and is held to underline the importance of lending an ear to those who need some support, particularly with their mental health. The date represents that the Samaritans are there to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Samaritans is a foundation which was set up in the United Kingdom in the 50s and quickly became a hotline for people who were struggling and needed someone to talk to.
